Estancia "Maitén"

From El Maitén to the North by #40 National Route, near to five kilometers of the urban plant we find the "Estancia Maitén", property of The Argentine Southern Land Company, actually Benetton's family, like Fitirihuin, Pilcaniyeu and Leleque "estancias".
This farm stablishment has excellent lands by where Chubut river runs, dedicated to the cattle growth and, recently and due to an accelerated process of product diversification, to tulip and garlic production, also the forestation.
Was in this "estancia" where Francisco P. Moreno stops in his way marking the geographical limits of Argentina and Chile, as he tells in his travel diary.
